Cook-Rogers Motorsports with Lee Harpe

Tom and Kelly Cook wish to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank some very key people that have allowed them to participate, and very successfully, achieve their goals for the 2021 racing season. These key people provide the opportunity and support for Tom and Kelly to fuel their passion of local stock car racing.
The first key people Tom and Kelly would like to thank is Greg and Sharon Rogers. Greg and Sharon provided the support and encouragement needed to accomplish the goals set for not only 2021, but for recent years as well.
Next, Tom and Kelly would like to thank the awesome individuals and companies who provide sponsorship for the race team, without these contributors they would not be able to accomplish the goals set for the race team. Tom and Kelly would like to thank the following for their continued support: Service Mechanical, Inc., 92.3 The Big radio station, Circle J Transport, Auto Appearance, Eron Nellis w/Car Brite, Truck Maintenance, Economy Auto Parts, Harts Engine Service, New Haven Bakery, Cornwell Tools, 101 Bowl, Rodney Delagrange Tax Preparer, Pro Strip, TLC Automotive Detailing, and Group 5 Graphics.
Of course, there is no way we could compete at the level we do without the dedicated people on our crew. Lee Harpe has many, many years of experience in racing and has many previous championships. His experience has been invaluable to this year’s success. His weekly “calls” on setup coupled with his tireless work during the week in the shop is in large part the result of our success.
The guys who make up our pit crew are invaluable. This group of guys give up time with their families every week and without them would there is no way we would have accomplished our goals for the 2021 season, or past seasons. We would like to thank Jeff Igney, Doug Smith, and Del Helvie for their tireless efforts, hardwork, and commitment to the team, these men are the backbone of the team.
Naturally, no team is complete without the wives that continuously show support every single week and allow us to be successful. We would like to thank, Stephanie Igney, Petra Smith, and Deb Helvie. We certainly would be remiss if we didn’t commend Kelly Cook for her love and support of Tom over his long and illustrious racing career.
Our 2021 racing season consisted of many wins, but 3 major accomplishments are included: The 9th Annual Al Cook Jr. Memorial in August, The Angola Motorsport Speedway Late Model Season Championship, and the Angola Motorsport Speedway Triple Play Challenge Series Championship.
Cook-Rogers Racing w/Lee Harpe competed 15 times in 2021 with 10 victories, 2 seconds, 1 fourth, and 1 DNF for a near 70%-win ratio.
