Big news for our community!

During Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, Mayor Justin Elicker officially presented a Proclamation of the City of New Haven to New Haven Adult Education!

This special recognition highlights the immense value of adult learning and honors the incredible dedication of our adult learners, teachers, staff, and community partners across Elm City. Whether it’s earning a high school diploma, learning English, mastering new career skills, or gaining U.S. citizenship, our students prove every day that it is never too late to learn, grow, and succeed.

To all our hardworking educators and inspiring students: this proclamation is for you! Thank you for making New Haven a brighter, stronger, and more empowered community.

We are excited to launch our Career Readiness & Hiring Pathways Series designed specifically for our High School Completion (HSC) Seniors, GED Candidates, Advanced ESOL, and NEDP students!

This initiative equips our graduating and upper-level adult learners with practical job search skills, modern resume support, and direct access to regional hiring events.

Today, Mrs. Porter commenced with the inaugural workshop on Resume Building and AI.
