The Breed Academy had the honor of hosting the incredible students of The Privilege Institute & The White Privilege Conference STEM Investments today at Skiro Studios! 🎓🎶

Today was all about knowledge, exposure, and bridging the gap. We had meaningful conversations about AI, the evolving music and creative industries, and the many different career paths and job titles that exist beyond what you may traditionally think of.

This is our youth. ❤️

We understand how important it is to pour into them, expose them to new possibilities, and give them the knowledge and tools to see themselves in these spaces. The conversations we have today can shape the careers they build tomorrow.

They are the future, and we’re honored to be a part of the journey. 🌱

We appreciate every youth and faculty members who came out, participated, and helped make the night special. The energy was real, and it sounds like we got a new Q House hit! 🔥

🎤 Sound check is one of the most important steps before any event or performance.

Anything can happen — from microphone issues to cable problems — which is why making sure every wire, input, and piece of equipment is working properly is key to a successful experience.

At The Breed Academy, we take pride in making sure our clients and artist friends have the sound quality and confidence they need when stepping on stage.

Here we have one of our head interns, Caleb, checking the speaker routing, verifying signal flow, and making sure all outputs are functioning properly for tonight’s rehearsal. 🎶

🎚️ Great mixes don’t always start by adding more—they often start by taking away.

At the Breed Academy, we teach our students the power of subtractive EQ during the recording process. By identifying and removing muddy, boxy, or harsh frequencies, we create space for vocals to sound cleaner, clearer, and more natural.

Understanding what to take out is just as important as knowing what to boost. That’s how you build professional mixes from the ground up.
