A part of their annual senior service, the Class of 2026 spent two days volunteering for causes in New Haven and the surrounding areas. Students assisted local nonprofits with various community projects, including landscaping, painting, cleaning, housing construction, and sorting donated goods.

Local organizations included:
- Bridgeport Habitat for Humanity
- Connecticut Foodshare
- Connecticut Mental Health Center
- Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen
- Friends Center for Children
- Garden for Healing
- Girl Scout Camp An-Se-Ox
- Homes for the Brave
- Mary Wade Nursing Home
- New Haven Housing Authority
- Quinnipiac River Fund
- Save the Sound
- Special Olympics Connecticut
- Sunrise Cafe New Haven

Alongside independent volunteering throughout the year, the Hopkins tradition of Senior Service Week remains a meaningful part of the senior experience, bringing the entire class together to give back to the community.

On Tuesday, May 19, members of the Class of 2026 were inducted into the Cum Laude Society. A Latin term meaning "with distinction" or "with honor," cm laude is an academic distinction awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in their studies. The evening's program included remarks from Head of School Matt Glendinning as well as Philip Alexander Geanakoplos ’16, a Hopkins Cum Laude alumnus, who returned to Hopkins as a guest speaker.
