TOMORROW, Thursday, May 6, is our flower fundraiser! If you donated last week, you can pick up at the Upper School between 8:30 and 9:30am. We've also ordered some extra flower baskets, so if you didn't manage to donate before, we are accepting last-minute donations tomorrow morning in exchange for a beautiful 10-inch flower basket just in time for Mothers' Day! Hope to see you there.

THIS WEEK ONLY! Donate $30 to the PTA and get a FREE 10" floral hanging basket just in time for Mother's Day! At pickup, you will be able to select from a variety of options, including (supply permitting) fuchsia, impatiens, strawflower, small and large flower petunias, and more (photo of petunia basket is for reference only). Just contribute using the "Donate" button at whspta.org and make a note saying "Flower Fundraiser" under "special instructions to the seller." In-person donations will also be accepted at pickup time while supplies last. Your donation will be used to support beautifying the school yard at both campuses; any additional funds will go toward Teacher Appreciation Week, extra supplies for our teachers, and more. Want more baskets? No problem. Give $60 and get two baskets, give $90 and get three, and so on. All donations must be received by 5pm on Thursday, April 29 in order to guarantee a basket. Pickup is from the Upper School between 8:30-9:30am on Thursday, May 6. Hanging baskets come from Paradise Nursery in Hamden.

This Monday, April 26, Blessings II Go on State Street has generously agreed to donate 10% of their sales that day to our PTA! Money from this fundraiser will be used to support the very important work of our school. As a reminder, some items the PTA spends money on are: start-up supplies for every teacher each year, providing scholarships for kids to attend the after school program, support for play-based learning supplies and COVID preparation, and supporting important community events like the Teacher Appreciation Week, the 8th Grade Play, Revels, and many other events!
