From fast steps to turns and jumps, Diana guided us through a wonderful introduction to Ukrainian dance while also sharing the cultural traditions and history behind the movements

🧶 Hooked on Crochet!

We had so much fun learning the basics of crochet together at our introductory workshop! From picking up our hooks to mastering basic stitches, it was a wonderful time learning a new skill and connecting with fellow grad students!

Stay tuned for more crochet workshops as we build on our new skills and work our way up to more complex patterns!

From ice cream socials to paint and sip, the McDougal Graduate Student Center had an unforgettable 2026 summer! 🍦🪴⚽🎨

​We beat the summer heat at our Ice Cream Social, explored New Haven during our Plant Walk & Propagation, cheered on our favorite teams at the World Cup Watch Party, got creative over breakfast at Bagels & Crafts, and unwound with a canvas at Paint & Sip.

​A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made these events so special. The summer may be wrapping up, but we are just getting started!
