Three Yalies have been selected as 2026 Rhodes Scholars, joining one of the world’s most respected communities of emerging leaders.

Yale College seniors Noah B. Tirschwell of Dobbs Ferry, New York; Aruna B. Balasubramanian of Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania; and August A. Rios of Bluffton, South Carolina, are among 32 students chosen from across the United States for fully funded graduate study at the University of Oxford beginning in 2026. Additional international recipients will be announced in the coming days.
