This week, library staff members were celebrated at festive Staff Appreciation event in Silliman College dining hall, including the 72 who were recognized for their many years of long service to Yale.

In an alumni reunion weekend event, University Librarian Barbara Rockenbach interviewed Pulitzer Prize–winning historian Beverly Gage to discuss her new book “This Land Is Your Land: A Road Trip Through U.S. History.” The book traces Gage‘s cross-country journey through historic sites and the ways the past shapes how we understand the nation today. Gage is the John Lewis Gaddis Professor of History and an American studies scholar at Yale University.

Application periods open this June for four fellowship opportunities for on-site research at The Lewis Walpole Library and Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library.

Scholars invited to apply for on-site research fellowships in Yale Library Special Collections | Yale Library Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library and Lewis Walpole Library each invite scholars to apply for two fellowships that support on-site research in Yale Library Special Collections. The application periods open in June.

On Tuesday, June 9, at 3:30 p.m., Ivy Drew, Kress Fellow in Art Librarianship, leads a curator's tour of her exhibition "An Artist‘s America: Toward a More Perfect Union." The exhibition is on view at Robert B. Haas Family Arts Library, Yale University until Nov. 8.
