Meet Julianne Frey, an NDEL Vendor Coordinator!
Julianne Frey is a dual-degree student at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and Yale School of the Environment. She graduated from the University at Buffalo with degrees in political science and environmental studies. She is a vendor coordinator for this year's conference. At Haub Law, Julianne is currently involved with the Land Use Law Center, a Co-Director of the Food and Agriculture Division for the Environmental Law Society, and a junior associate at the Pace Environmental Law Review.

Meet Alysia LeComte, who is an NDEL Outreach Coordinator!
Alysia is a 2L at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Environmental Law. Alysia spent her undergraduate years at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, earning degrees in English and geology. While at Lafayette, Alysia served as an Excel Scholar, conducting research on paleoclimatology and groundwater/surface water interactions. Between college and law school, Alysia worked in therapeutic schools and special education programs as both a teacher and an administrator. Since enrolling at Haub Law, Alysia has become a Land Use Law Center Scholar studying sea level rise and water conservation, a Junior Associate with Pace Law Review, and the Energy and Climate Division Director for the Environmental Law Society.

INTRODUCING OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Ali Zaidi, Former White House National Climate Advisor
Zaidi served as Assistant to the President of the United States and National Climate Advisor. In this role, he led the White House Climate Policy Office, which coordinated policy development and the U.S. government’s overall strategy on climate and clean energy. During his White House service (2021-2025), Zaidi advanced a broad effort to re-establish U.S. climate and clean energy leadership by designing and implementing a broad set of executive actions and key legislation, including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act.

Meet Liz Beling, who is an NDEL Budget & Funding Coordinator!
Liz Beling is a 2L at Yale Law School from Charlottesville, Virginia. She is a graduate of Emory University, where she worked on the Oxford College Organic Farm and studied sociology. Before law school, she worked at the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission where she served school divisions in a five-county region on expanding farm-to-school programming and local food procurement.
At Yale Law School, she is a Co-Chair of the Yale Environmental Law Association, the Finance Chair for Yale Law Women+, an editor of the Yale Law Journal, and a Veterans Legal Services Clinic member.
