Hello all! Are you a first-year hoping to get to know members of our community? Are you an upperclassmen who is simply admiring the poster? To the first, I say – welcome! YDC is hosting First-Year Theater Office Hours with Jay and Catherine (aka the folks hovering next to the llama) to help you do just that. To the second, I say – tell any first-years you might know! We also might be holding themed office hours (i.e. stage managers, costume designers, people who've been personally victimized by the Lighten Theater, etc) in the future, so keep an eye out 💜

Since school moved online for the end of the school year, 17 or so Yale undergraduate theatrical productions were unfortunately cancelled or postponed. But, the show must go on! In honor of these lost-but-not-forgotten pieces of theater, we present, “Here’s What We’re Missing,” based on a song from the student-written musical “Y2K” by Dylan Schifrin. To any prefrosh who might be interested in theater, here’s a taste of what we’re all about! To the Yale theater community, thank you for making your art—it will always find a way to be shared!! Also: a major shoutout to the video editing skills and dedication of one of our First-Year Liaisons, Jay Mehta. Thank you for putting this together!
