Our current justice system continues to fail BIPOC men, women, and non-binary individuals every single day. Breonna Taylor was more than a hashtag—she was a daughter, a sister, and a friend; the failure of the law system to indict the cops who took her life away is a blatant reminder of the violent racism weaved into our systems. It highlights the violence against black women that is prevalent in our country. Our chapter stands with BIPOC organizers to protest this injustice. Please refer to the link in our bio to find out ways you can help.

We are super excited to introduce our new diversity board directors, and .griffin! Over the past few weeks, our directors have been leading our diversity board, a new committee dedicated to removing the systematic lack of diversity in Greek Life at Yale. They are working with a group of women in APHI to encourage diversity and inclusion and are striving to create a space that welcomes all womxn by reducing barriers to entry. Some current initiatives the board is working on are developing a summer book club, planning speaker events on diversity and inclusion, and curating a list of media to watch and discuss as a group. Be sure to watch our stories over the next few weeks as we share our resources and reading lists!
