Call the Midwives: Yale Nursing Clinicians Practice, Teach, and Advocate Yale School of Nursing (YSN) is full of clinicians who love pregnancy and babies. Studying them, researching them, and teaching the next generation of midwives all about them. Pregnant members of the community walking the halls have been known to sharpen a keen sense of any midwives in the building....

Vistor policy update: Effective today at York Street Campus of YNHH, patients are able to have 2 visitors from 10am to 7pm in the postpartum area and maternal special care. This includes children - they must be accompanied by an adult over 18, who counts as the 2nd visitor.

It’s Black Maternal Health Week! Yale Midwives are happy to see more attention being brought to health crisis in America.

The White House issues its first-ever proclamation on Black maternal health. The proclamation is part of a broader effort to address the vast racial disparities in pregnancy and childbirth-related deaths and complications in the United States.

One of our midwives and three of the physicians we collaborate with on the labor floor is doing a study to improve Black Maternal Health. Please click below if you are interested in participating. $25 for doing a one hour interview with the researchers.
