And, last but not least, here is a pic of Dr. Lesley wearing a Yoda towel hoodie in the new building (you're welcome):
The moving boxes are slowly getting unpacked, the syllabi copies are flying off the photocopier, the coffee is flowing... we're feverishly gearing up to welcome students back!
A delayed congratulations to Dr. Barry who, in the last 3 months, became a "Dr." and got hitched, traveled to Italy and got stuck in Iceland, and who happens to be celebrating his birthday today.
Welcome back from your research trip in Ecuador, Dr. Kearns. Glad to hear Dr. Kowalczyk enjoyed his time in Fairbanks, and that Dr. Lesley is enjoying his new pool in his new house. Dr. Coca, see you in the spring and don't miss us too much while on sabbatical in the UK.
Last but not least, please help us welcome our new secretary, Christine Anderson, and our new chair, the not-so-new Dr. Webb .
Hope everyone else enjoyed their summer!
