Hello and welcome back, YEEBUG! The Peabody Museum is hosting an open house from 5-8pm tomorrow evening (9/1). Don't miss the special table for Yale students, featuring cookies and info about opportunities for volunteering, research, or paid employment!
The Peabody is keeping its doors open until 8 pm Thursday, September 1st! Explore the exhibits,visit one of the student run SciCart hands-on activity carts, and shop in our Museum Store which will remain open until 7:30 pm. Pokemon Alert! The Peabody Museum has three Pokemon-Go pokestops and a gym! Join us for a battle at the Torosaurus Gym at 5:30 pm followed by a special 30-minute tour with The Professor, where you will see some of the creatures that may have inspired your favorite pokemon! #pokemongo
Admission is free but donations are welcome!

Last week we finished our series of behind-the-scenes tours of the Peabody Museum's collections. In three weeks we saw the collections of five departments: Vertebrate Paleontology, Invertebrate Paleontology, Vertebrate Zoology, Invertebrate Zoology, and Entomology.
