Opinion: The work of a Connecticut hero must not be forgotten. A culture of remembrance is vital for democracy The establishment of days such as Hiram Bingham IV Day, enacts a culture of remembrance in Connecticut that honors the memory of the victims and preserves the truth.

I participated in an international conference on Philosophy and Education at the Armenian State Pedagogical University in Yerevan yesterday. I was honored with a medal for my decades-long service promoting international exchange between the United States academic community and the university and other higher education institutions in Armenia. I have also organized symposia and workshops at the American University of Armenia as part of my Fulbright Scholar Award for 2025 to 2026. I look forward to continuing these collaborations in the years ahead.
