Philosophy Club will be meeting on Wednesday, September 30th from 1pm - 2pm in END227.

Attention Southern Connecticut State University Philosophers! Next week, join us for our Fall Week of Welcome event!

On Tuesday, September 1st, we will be in EN A120 from 1:50pm - 3:05pm for a special lunch and learn session. Department Chair, CSU Professor David Pettigrew will be hosting a talk on Living an Ethical Life. We have free pizza, snacks, drinks and swag to give away, and all are welcome.

Philosophy club is also recruiting new e-board members for the semester - if you are interested, please come along!

Southern Connecticut State University Philosophy Professor Armen Marsoobian participated in an international conference on Philosophy and Education at the Armenian State Pedagogical University in Yerevan yesterday. Dr. Marsoobian was honored with a medal for his decades-long service promoting international exchange between the United States academic community and the university and other higher education institutions in Armenia. Dr. Marsoobian also organized symposia and workshops at the American University of Armenia as part of my Fulbright Scholar Award for 2025 to 2026. He looks forward to continuing these collaborations in the years ahead.
