Grow Seeds in Cotton Balls 🌱

What You Need:
Cotton balls
Bean seeds
Clear cup or jar
Water
Plastic wrap or lid

Steps:
Add Cotton:
Put cotton balls in the cup. Leave space at the top.

Water:
Wet the cotton balls, but don’t soak them.

Plant Seeds:
Make small holes in the cotton and place seeds inside.

Cover:
Use plastic wrap or a lid to keep it warm.

Sunny Spot:
Put the cup near a window.

Watch:
Check daily for roots and stems. Add water if cotton gets dry.

What Kids Learn:
How seeds grow into plants.
Plants need water, sunlight, and care.
Patience while watching seeds sprout.

Dr. Seuss's birthday is March 2nd, and Dr. Seuss Week is celebrated from March 3rd to 7th.
(Some teachers choose to celebrate during the last week of February—honestly, just do what works best for you and the kids!)
