The World Justice at Yale (WJY) group on campus is a student organization with the mission to advocate for discriminated minorities who are experiencing humanitarian crises worldwide. As Americans and Yalies with the privilege of a voice, we believe that it is imperative that the YCC use that voice to promote discriminated people’s freedom from oppression. We call on the YCC to establish a quorum for the signing of the attached letter calling for the condemnation of The People’s Republic of China and their ethnic cleansing of the Uygher population.

Petition the YCC to vote:
We at World Justice at Yale work to raise awareness for humanitarian crisis around the world. This past June, we submitted a statement condemning the Uygher genocide to the Yale College Council.
After following up multiple times with the YCC, they finally responded two weeks later that they were “reconsidering their stance on voting on international political issues,” despite voting on one only one week prior to our original petition.
Please share this post and reach out to the YCC representatives to advocate for the signing of our petition in support of the oppressed Uygher population in China.
