Some upcoming events for March/April
11/17/2025
STARTING THIS WEDNESDAY: Every Wednesday (see list of dates) from 1:10pm-2:00pm in the History Department Seminar Room (EN C219F), we will be hosting a viewing/discussion series of The American Revolution, a new film by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidts on PBS.
This twelve-hour series examines how thirteen colonies on the Atlantic Coast united in rebellion, won their independence, and established a republic that still endures. The film offers an expansive, evenhanded look at the virtues and the contradictions in the fight for independence and the birth of the United States.
Join Dr. Marie McDaniel weekly as we view and discuss this new work!
