The 2026 Donor Scholar was filled with meaningful moments of connection, celebration, and gratitude.

While the evening celebrates the students whose hard work has earned scholarship support, it is also an opportunity to bring together the people behind those opportunities. Students have the chance to connect with fellow scholars, meet the donors who believe in their potential, and hear from alumni who once sat in their seats and have since gone on to build their success.

Created by CT State Gateway’s Culinary Club in collaboration with Graphic Design Capstone students, this cookbook celebrates student creativity while supporting scholarship opportunities.
Guests will have the chance to sample recipes, meet the student creators, and pick up a copy of the new book.

Thanks to your support, the first cookbook "Sweeter by the Dozen" sold 267 copies, funding three $500 scholarships and providing royalties to student contributors. The Sweet‑quel builds on that success with 12 original student recipes, and at least 25% of proceeds will support next year’s scholarship fund.

Professor Goode was once a student at CT State Gateway.
