🚨Important!! “The citywide parking ban will remain in effect through Wednesday 6 pm. If you parked your vehicle at a New Haven Public School parking lot, please remove it by Wednesday 6 pm so that our plows can finish clearing those lots before the start of school on Thursday.”

Given the forecast for snow during school arrivals tomorrow morning, and because crews must continue the work of cleaning up after Monday’s blizzard, all New Haven Public Schools will be closed again tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25. This is an important message from the New Haven Public Schools. Due to the inclement weather, all schools will open with a two-hour delay this morning. There will be no before-school programs.

Conferences this Wednesday!!!! Don’t forget to sign up with your child(s) teacher!!

Take the School Climate Survey from February 2-27, 2026.

-All responses are anonymous. 
-The survey will take 10-15 minutes.
-You can complete the survey on your phone or on a computer and can pause the survey at any time and return to it on any device.
-Students will have time at school to take the survey.
-You will receive an email and/or text message with a link to the survey.
-The Climate Survey will ask questions about the learning environment, belonging and community, staff-student relationships, bullying and safety, and discipline.

Parents:
-If you need help completing the survey contact a family engagement center or your school’s front office.
-If you DO NOT want your child to participate, please contact the front office for the opt out form, and submit the form by January 29, 2026.
