Retirement After Health Challenges
Hi there,
My name is Tina White and I ran TRUSTED LITTLE SOULS. For years, I've loved caring for kids and working with families in our community. Recently, I had a stroke. It's changed my life in a big way, and now I need to step back and retire so I can focus on getting better.
This wasn't an easy choice, but it’s what I need right now. I'm grateful for all the support everyone has given me along the way. with that being said we went from 2 incomes to 1.
For anyone that knows me I am very crafty thinking id give that a shot to raise some money So if you buy from me that’s where your money is going.

After having someone complain about the expense of daycare I decided to look at it myself being the owner of one and this is what I came up with based on my facility.
Full time position for toddler is $220 week div. by 40hrs =$5.50 hr.
if meals and snacks only cost $1.00 each then I'm still ahead $1.00 but then you add in toilet paper, tissues, any art that may be done , a band aid, hand soap etc. I'm in the hole .
Daycare expense - Staff, workman's comp, education, rent, lights, heat, internet, plowing , mowing, insurances, fire maintenance, office supplies, groceries, craft supplies, Im sure i forgot something
So even though the cost for childcare may seem expensive the cost to offer a good childcare facility is also. But to me just knowing my child is happy, safe, and well taken care of is worth it all.
