I'll be offering new small groups for our homeschool kiddos starting in November! I'm hoping for literacy- and math-focused groups (Ages 6-9). What do you need- reading strategies, vowel teams, comprehension, blending, addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division? Please share and comment! I know there is a need, and I'd love to help!

Much of what I do involves giving parents ideas for helping their children succeed. I'm contemplating offering coaching sessions for parents as a service.
What do you think? I'm just curious if there is interest.

Using our sense of touch to help describe! I love this activity so much! Anyone can do it at home. Find random objects and place them in a bag. Have your kiddo close their eyes and take out an object. Tell them to use adjectives to describe what they feel and then guess! A fantastic follow up activity could include writing to describe one of the objects OR an object of their choice.

This kid is a superstar! She worked hard on this poster to help remind herself of the steps of a long division problem. DMSB: Does McDonald’s Sell Burgers or Division, Multiplication, Subtraction and Bring down. This anchor chart with a visual and acronym will help her nail the dreaded long division! Art for the win!
