Hi everyone,
As I prepare for my next week-long visit to Mayo Clinic, I wanted to thank everyone who has helped me get this far.

The support I’ve received has made it possible to continue pursuing answers after years of uncertainty. Because of your generosity, I’ve already been able to complete my initial evaluations and begin working with specialists who understand these complex conditions.

My next visit will focus on additional testing, consultations, and treatment planning. The goal is to answer the remaining questions and determine the best path forward for managing my symptoms and improving my quality of life.

Travel, lodging, appointments, and testing continue to create significant expenses, especially since insurance is not covering these visits. Every donation directly supports my ability to continue receiving care at Mayo Clinic.

Whether you’ve donated, shared the fundraiser, sent a message, or kept me in your thoughts, thank you. Your support means more than I can express.

If you would like to help further, please consider sharing my fundraiser with your friends, family, and social networks. Reaching new people is one of the most powerful ways to help me continue this journey toward answers and treatment.

Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and helping me keep searching for answers. I truly couldn’t do this without you.

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has donated, shared, and supported my fundraiser. Because of your generosity, I’ve been able to access specialized care at Mayo Clinic that simply wasn’t available to me locally.

Several people have asked how the funds are being used, so I wanted to provide an update.

So far, donations have helped cover:

• Hotel expenses for my first Mayo visit: $2,902
• Hotel expenses for my upcoming return visit: $2,401
• Gas and parking expenses: $95.90
• Mayo Clinic consultations, testing, and treatments: $17,697

That brings the total Mayo-related expenses so far to more than $23,000.

While these numbers are overwhelming, every test and consultation has helped move us closer to answers. After years of searching, Mayo specialists have identified significant issues involving blood pressure regulation, blood volume, and autonomic nervous system function. We finally have some pieces of the puzzle and potential treatment options to explore.

Unfortunately, we still don’t have all the answers. Mayo has recommended two additional week-long visits to continue testing, consultations, and treatment planning. There are still important questions about my fainting episodes, movement symptoms, gastrointestinal issues, and the underlying cause of my low blood volume and blood pressure.

Your donations are helping make these appointments possible. They are paying for the travel, lodging, testing, consultations, and treatments needed to continue this search for answers and, hopefully, effective treatment.

If you are unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser is incredibly helpful. Every share helps more people learn about my journey and brings me one step closer to getting the care I need.

Thank you for believing in me and helping me continue this fight.

Hi. It's been a while. I'm Jessica's sister. I've been silent on social media while struggling with my health. My local doctors have not been able to diagnose or find solutions for me. They've referred me to Mayo Clinic. After many months, I have finally been accepted as a patient and scheduled for an appointment. Mayo has ordered many tests, which my local doctors agree are necessary and cannot be done locally. Unfortunately, my insurance will only cover a couple of them. The rest, I'll have to pay for out of pocket- thousands more than I have saved up. I could really use some help getting my life back. Please share if you're able. Thank you for being here.

Fall with its crisp, cool air and golden sunlight invites slower movements and naps in flower patches. Some days, every calendula and marigold bloom in the apothecary gardens contains a napping bumble or two. They're so busy during the summer, it's hard to appreciate them fully as they bustle about collecting pollen. It's nice to have the opportunity to see them so close up. I'm reminded to save seeds and plant more fall blooming flowers for them to enjoy next year.

Spending a quiet moment in the garden as this woodpecker works hard, helping out in the apothecary gardens by examining the elecampane stalks for earwigs and problem pests. Hopefully, he'll eat his fill and return. Earwigs can be a real pain in Southern Wisconsin gardens. I wish he was a little more interested in yellow jackets. They are bad this year! But, we'll take whatever help he lends. Working in harmony with nature and protecting native species are personal and company values we work hard to incorporate into our practices and products.

Our Junior Herbalists say, "Thank you," to Melissa from Mud & Honey Pottery, "for the amazing locker magnets!"

If you haven't met Melissa, you should. She's incredibly friendly and kind. Plus, she's a talented local potter with more upcoming shows, where you'll have the just the right opportunity to say "hi" and purchase your own Mud & Honey original 😉. If you're a fan of our teas, check out the mugs she makes over on her page. The poppies and strong women are some of my all-time favorites. They're a fantastic size for a great cup of tea.

We stopped by New Glarus Art in the Park yesterday to visit Melissa and some of our other show friends. The weather was fantastic for it this year Salve Regina Tchotchkes is another one to watch.
