📚✨ The NEMS Book Fair opens TOMORROW! ✨📚
The books are ready and the shelves are full!!!
Students will be able to shop during the school day and find their next great read. Whether they’re into adventure, sports, mystery, fantasy, graphic novels, or something totally different—there’s something for everyone! Book Fair will be open all week.❤️

🌱🐝 Exploring Careers in Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources! 🦋🌻

Ms. Holley's class has officially begun a deep dive into different career clusters, and we’re kicking things off with the Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources Career Cluster!

Our first career exploration? Entomology! 🐝🔎 Students discovered what entomologists do and learned how studying insects can help us better understand and protect our environment.

We were thrilled to welcome Holly DeVault, Outreach Coordinator with the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory, for two days of hands-on learning. Ms. DeVault first introduced students to the fascinating world of bees, wasps, flies, and other pollinators, helping them learn how to identify different insects and understand their important roles in our ecosystems.

Then, it was time to head outside! 🌿 Students put their new skills to work in our pollinator garden, conducting an insect census and carefully observing and identifying the pollinators they discovered.

What an incredible way to connect career exploration, science, nature, and hands-on learning! We’re excited to see where our career cluster journey takes us next! 🌎🔬
