New Deal ISD BBQ Team High School students participating in BBQ cook-off’s

With our competition coming up on Oct. 16-17. We will need judges for the following items. You can only judge one. Judging is on Saturday the 17th only!!

We have these spots available:
3 for Brisket @ 2:30pm
1 for chicken @ 11:30am
1 for Ribs @ 1:00pm
4 for Dessert @ 8:30am
5 for Beans @ 10:00am

If you are interested please message Danny Mendez or myself so we can get you on the books.

Our school has been selected to host a regional meet this year. We are so excited!!

We would like to hand out door prize as well so if you or anyone you know is willing to donate anything to our teams we would greatly appreciate it.

Also please make plans to just come visit on that day and see just exactly how hard all these kids work.

The official ruling is out and we actually placed 18th out of 92 teams. Not bad for our 1st year.

These kids worked hard all day long literally starting at 4:30am and finishing at 6pm. Thier hard work paid off. 92 teams were competing today. The Low-N-Slow team placed 19th overall!! We had 2 individuals place within the top 20 and one even earning a trophy!!
Congratulations to them all.
