Westerner Marching Festival results!

Full Band: 9th out of 18 2A bands
Percussion: 20th out of 24 1A/2A bands (Due to an injury, percussion wasn't able to earn points in the marching category of their rubric)
Color Guard: 7th out of 18 1A/2A bands with a Color Guard on the field.

I'm proud of the hard work our students have put in thus far and I'll know they'll bring that same energy to next week's rehearsals!

Our Lion Pride Band had an early morning and they rose to the occasion. We won't find out results/rankings until much later tonight, but I am proud of our students and the work they've put into their performance. We have some thorough judge's comments to focus on during our next rehearsals and you can bet these students will continue to play with pride!

Let's all congratulate these wonderful kids and anyone with photos from today may feel free to post pictures in the comments!

Big thanks to Mr. Hernandez and Mr. Reese! They will be with the band tomorrow for the game in Mr. C's and I's absence.

They will leave at 5:30pm, and the kids need to wear jeans and their band shirt.
