East Muskingum Levy

The East Muskingum Levy Committee and the Board of Education would like to extend our gratitude to the entire community. We sincerely appreciate each person who took time to attend an informational meeting; placed a levy sign in their yard; went door-to-door; created Facebook videos; and shared information with neighbors and friends to help support the children of our district. Thank you to those who turned out to the polls on November 7th and those who early / absentee voted.

The RENEWAL of the 1.0 mill Emergency Operating Levy passed in both counties!

The 1.3 mill Emergency Operating Levy to REPLACE the expiring bond and maintenance levy passed in Muskingum County but did not pass in Guernsey County. Although the vote was very close, we remain optimistic that the results will turn out in a positive manner that will benefit the students of the East Muskingum Local School District.

We have been told by the Muskingum County Board of Elections that the results as posted are unofficial and will not be certified as official until November 20th.

Thank you again to everyone for your help and support of these critical issues.
