Stability or a dream: what do you choose?
Ever since I was a child I knew I wanted to work for myself. I always wanted more.
No one in my family ever studied abroad. No one in my family ever was an entrepreneur. But I wanted to change that!
As you already know, I graduated from an American university. And it was already a huge step for me.
But even after that I was concerned about what to do next. I didn't have much work experience and like many other graduates I was scared of the future.
So I got employed as a PR specialist in a virtual reality startup. It gave me a sense of stability and a relatively good income. I was good at my job, I learned fast and I made a lot of connections.
But after one year I started feeling like it was time for more. Why do I sacrifice a dream of building my own business for stability?
So I quit. And let me tell you, it was not easy. But I could not spend another day not living my dream life.
