Best Fitness Workouts for Beginners - How To Do Them Right
These exercises are designed to help you build strength, tone up, and improve your overall fitness level.
Exercise is an important part of staying fit and healthy. It helps burn calories, builds muscle, improves cardiovascular function, and strengthens bones. This article will teach you how to exercise safely and effectively.
Squats
If you're new to exercising, squats are one of the easiest ways to start building strength. They also work your entire body, not just your legs. Start with a weight that's too heavy and gradually add more as you become stronger.
The squat is one of the most basic exercises there are. It works almost every major muscle group in your body, and it’s easy to learn. You simply stand with your feet shoulder width apart and then lower yourself until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Hold this position for a few seconds before slowly returning to standing. Do 10 repetitions per set.
Pushups
Squats are another exercise that will help you build muscle and strengthen your core. You'll need to do them right though. Here's how to do them correctly.
The pushup is one of the most basic exercises there is. It works every major muscle group in your body, including your chest, shoulders, triceps, biceps, abs, back, and core. You can perform pushups anywhere, anytime, without equipment. In fact, you can do them while standing, sitting, lying down, or even while driving.
Lunges
Start with your feet hip width apart and knees slightly bent. Step forward with one leg at a time until both legs are straight. Lower your body as far as possible without losing balance. Push back up to starting position. Repeat on other side.
The first step to exercising safely is to find a safe place to work out. If you live in an apartment building, choose a room where there aren’t stairs or elevators. If you live in a house, look for a space that has a door that locks. Make sure that the area is well lit and free from hazards such as broken glass, sharp objects, and open flames.
Plank
This exercise helps strengthen your core muscles and improves posture. It also builds muscle endurance and strengthens your abdominal muscles.
The plank is one of the best exercises for strengthening core muscles. It works your entire body, from your shoulders to your toes. To perform a plank, lie face down on the floor with your elbows directly under your shoulders and your forearms flat on the ground. Keep your legs straight and lift your hips off the floor. Hold this position for 30 seconds. You should feel your abs working overtime. If you want to challenge yourself, try holding the plank for 60 seconds.
