As members of the Jewish community, we recognize the State of Israel as the Jewish homeland. Throughout their studies, students will be exposed to the maps, major cities, landmarks and special places, food, language, life, and culture of Israel.

Mitzvot and Jewish Values are embedded within the BeYachad experience and will develop organically. In addition, the program includes helping the community by, working with the kosher food pantry, helping animals in need, collecting feminine hygiene products, supporting programs in Israel, making and sending holiday gifts and more.

Our Tefillah (prayer) curriculum creates an environment where our students develop the skills to recite, understand, and connect spiritually with prayer. The BeYachad program will also prepare your child for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Kehillah (community) time is part of the BeYachad program where our older students (6th & 7th graders) get to really shine. Through cross-grade programming and activities, these students will act as mentors for the younger students, guiding and inspiring them in the spirit (Ruach) of our BeYachad community. Through this new and empowered role, these students will become personally invested in our community and their own Jewish experience.

Our Youth Groups are a place where children and families can come together for various social and cultural events. Both NCJC and TBS Youth Groups provide opportunities for teens to participate in fun activities, create friendships and develop leadership skills, all through a Jewish lens.

Our Nefesh program gives children the opportunity to explore our world and community. Participants engage in hands-on activities, projects, and off-site trips to deepen their understanding of our Jewish responsibility to help repair the world (l’taken et ha’olam).
