Here at Holy Spirit, we are proud to offer continued support for our Parish children desiring a Catholic Education. We do that through our Friends of Catholic Education (FOCE) Ministry and by supporting the various school systems we send our children to. Check out this fun event in Hermitage which supports the Kennedy Catholic Family of Schools - a system that educates approx. 40 Holy Spirit children. Need tickets for the Fall Fiesta? You can purchase those at our St. James Site during regular business hours or you can get them from our Media & Marketing Administrator, Melanie Widelko, at the Faith Formation Building. Come out to the Pet Blessing - this Saturday!

Everyone's favorite Parish Mascot, Ailis, wants to remind you that our Animal Blessing will take place this Saturday, October 1st at St. Camillus at 10:00am. All are welcome - pets must be leashed. Small animals should be in some sort of crate, container, etc. Hope to see you there! Your Challenge: Let's brighten everyone's day by posting your favorite pet photos in the comment section! 🐇🦜🐩🐴🐭

Thanks to all who came out to our first joint Cavatelli Dinner with the Kennedy Catholic Family of Schools. It was so nice to host our friends from Hermitage. We couldn't have done it without our amazing and dedicated volunteers from both organizations - kudos everyone! What a beautiful friendship that benefits our Catholic school children in western PA!

Friends of Catholic Education (FOCE) held a general meeting last night. Afterwards, pint-sized members participated in a service project, creating "Blessing Bags" that will be distributed by the New Castle Cancer Support Group to people in the community affected by cancer. Big thanks to FOCE member, Natalie Fee, for providing the materials to put these bags together. Love, strength, and prayers to all! 💟
