Ezra Award 📜

The Ezra Award honors students who persist with steadfastness, setting their minds to the task. Congratulations to our Ezra Award winners!

For on the first day of the first month he began to go up from Babylonia, and on the first day of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem, for the good hand of his God was on him. For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the LORD, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel. –Ezra 7:9-10

House Cup 🏆🛡️

Reminiscent of traditional European boarding schools, our House System unites upper school students into four Houses: Edwards, Kepler, Wilberforce, and Kuyper. Overseen by invested faculty, these houses cultivate leadership, discipleship, service, and a rich, family-like student culture.

Throughout the year, students enjoy House competitions and earn points to win the coveted House Cup, strengthening a vital sense of belonging among our teenage students.

Congratulations to the House of Kepler on winning the House Cup this year!

These sweet kindergarteners are being promoted to first grade!

They’ve learned their ABCs and 123s, but more than that, they have begun the 16,000-hour journey of being formed by truth, goodness, and beauty.

We celebrate not only how far they have come, but all that God is still doing in them.

They are not their own. They belong to the Lord.

Congratulations to the Class of 2038!

A Charge to the Class of 2026 🎓

“All of you know how this speech is supposed to go. I’m supposed to say something encouraging and inspiring, like, ‘Class of 2026, we made it!’

Well, what if I told you we haven’t made it? In fact, we aren’t even close…”

– Ian R., Valedictorian of the Class of 2026

“If your highest goal is comfort, you will organize your life around avoiding difficulty.

If your highest goal is approval, you will always be controlled by other people’s opinions…

If your highest goal is success, you may eventually sacrifice the things that really matter to try to achieve it.

But if you orient your life toward truth and goodness, and the God who made you, you will find something far sturdier than success: meaning…

…Make sure that what you are reaching toward is large enough to satisfy the kind of soul you have.”

– Mrs. Trish Jamison, Upper School Literature Teacher
