Although a little belated, we are thrilled to welcome Rachel Loux as DV Classical's new Events Coordinator and Grammar Aide!
Rachel and her husband Jeff, a Tall Oaks alumnus, have three children - Asher (4), Josiah (11), and Maddie (13), who has attended DV Classical for the last 6 years. As a family, they enjoy watching movies and playing board games.
Rachel has over 10 years of leadership experience in event planning and operations. She has also volunteered extensively in the children’s programs at her church both behind the scenes and directly in the classroom. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, reading, and sewing.
For the past six years, Rachel has generously shared her time and talents with DV Classical as a volunteer, helping create wonderful experiences for our students and families. We are excited to welcome her to the team and grateful that she will continue using her gifts to support events as well as students and teachers in the classroom.
Rachel shares:
"I met my husband in college and very early on I could tell that there was a difference between the education he received and my own. It was like he spoke a secret language with the professors that the rest of us had never learned.
After attending 'A Portrait of an Education' in early 2020, we both knew that a classical Christian education was what we wanted for our own children. Every year, God continues to show us that the DV Classical community is the right place for our family. I feel blessed to have this opportunity and am grateful to be able to serve the school."
