New Castle County school districts are excited to partner for the 2026–2027 Special Education Parent Council Family Learning Series. These monthly virtual sessions are designed to support, inform, and empower families by sharing helpful resources and information on topics identified by families.

Join us virtually on the first Wednesday of each month from 6:00–7:00 p.m., beginning October 7! We look forward to learning, connecting, and strengthening partnerships with families across New Castle County.

🌟 Starting the Year Strong at Eisenberg! 🌟

One of the most important parts of our day is how we start our day together! 💙

On the first day of school, our classrooms came together for Morning Meeting, a key part of the Responsive Classroom approach. Morning Meeting gives students and teachers an opportunity to build relationships, create a strong classroom community, practice important social-emotional skills, and set a positive tone for the day. 🫶🏽📚

From greetings and sharing to getting to know one another and learning classroom routines, our Eagles were already building connections and creating a classroom community where every student feels welcomed, valued, and ready to learn. 🦅✨

We are so excited for all the learning, growing, and connecting that will happen this year at Harry O. Eisenberg Elementary!

FREE After-School Clubs Now Available at Eisenberg! 🎉

We’re excited to share that CollabClub after-school clubs are now FREE Monday through Thursday for the 2026–2027 school year!

CollabClub is a licensed before- and after-school program located right at Eisenberg Elementary School. Students can choose clubs based on their interests and participate in hands-on activities like STEM, art, cooking, sports, homework help, and more.

Program Details:

📍 Eisenberg Elementary School
🕠 After-school clubs run until 5:30 PM
🎉 Monday–Thursday After-School Clubs: FREE
💲 Friday After-School Club: $15/week
✅ Safe, licensed before- and after-school care
🎨 Students choose clubs based on their interests

We are SO excited to welcome our amazing kindergartners to Harry O. Eisenberg Elementary tomorrow for their FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! 🎉

📚 We can’t wait to see their smiling faces, make new memories, and begin an incredible year of learning together! 💙

And don’t worry, Eisenberg friends… the rest of our students join us Tuesday! 🥳 We are counting down the hours until our hallways are filled with laughter, learning, and all the energy our students bring!

Today, we’re giving you a little peek at some of the cozy corners our teachers have created in their classrooms. 🛋️📖✨ These special spaces are designed to make our students feel comfortable, welcome, and ready to learn.

Our teachers have been working SO hard to make their classrooms feel like a second home—and we think they look AMAZING! ❤️

What an AWESOME turnout we had for our Walkthrough Night at Harry O. Eisenberg Elementary School! 🏫✨

It was wonderful seeing so many of our families come through our doors, meet their child’s teacher, visit their classroom, and get ready for an amazing school year! We are so excited to welcome our students back! 📚✏️

A HUGE thank you to Sallie Mae and Amazon for their generous donations of school supplies! 🎒✏️📓 Your support helped make sure our students and teachers have some of the supplies they need to start the year strong. We truly appreciate your generosity and commitment to our school community! ❤️

🎨 Equity in Action at Eisenberg! 🎨

Our amazing teachers are continuing to dive into meaningful equity professional development! Today, teams of six worked together to create pictures using only string to guide their markers. 🧵🖊️

This hands-on activity challenged our teachers to communicate, collaborate, listen to different perspectives, and work together toward a common goal—all while thinking about how these experiences connect to our students and their learning.

We are incredibly proud of the equity work happening at Harry O. Eisenberg Elementary School and the way our staff continues to reflect, learn, collaborate, and transfer these important ideas directly into our teaching and classrooms. ❤️💙
