💙 LOVING LANDERS LANE: We’re Ready! 💙

What an incredible kickoff week with our Leach staff! From meaningful professional development and schedule building to classroom prep and all those final touches, our team has been hard at work getting ready for the BEST part of back-to-school… welcoming our students on Monday, 8/31!

And this year, our halls are telling a story.

Mrs. Hunter, our new school secretary, and Dr. Schreppler spent weeks transforming Leach to celebrate our theme, Loving Landers Lane: A Legacy of Love, Learning, and Community.

Every hallway is filled with photographs spanning the 1950s through today, along with some incredible pieces of Leach history—including old newspaper articles, Mr. John G. Leach’s 1925 college diploma, and felt dolls of Mr. and Mrs. Leach created to commemorate the dedication of the John G. Leach School in 1954. 💙

We can’t wait for our families to see it all at Open House on September 17th! Take some extra time to wander the halls, walk down memory lane, and enjoy the photographs, memories, and memorabilia that tell the story of Leach.

There’s a whole lot of history in these halls…and we’re ready to make even more. 💙

Not Your Average Back-to-School Kickoff!

You can’t kick off the last year on Landers Lane (Leach's current home) without taking a little trip to see what’s NEXT! 👀🚌

Today, Dr. Schreppler loaded up the Leach crew and headed over for our very first peek at the future John G. Leach School!

EDiS set up a safe area away from the active work so faculty and staff from the Leach School could get their first look at their future school.

A huge thank you to EDiS, Drew Moffett, Steve Johnson, Gabe Phillips and our Transportation Department for jumping in, collaborating, and helping turn this idea into such a special experience for our staff!

A little organization can make a BIG difference as we head back to school! 📚

Designate a quiet, comfortable spot at home for homework and studying. Stock it with the basics—pencils, paper, chargers, good lighting, and anything else your student needs to stay focused and ready to learn.

It doesn’t have to be fancy—just a consistent place that says, **“It’s time to get to work!”** 💪
