School may be out, but nutritious meals are still on the menu!

Through the USDA Summer Food Service Program, all children and teens 18 years old and younger can enjoy free healthy meals at locations throughout the Colonial community.

✅ Open to all children 18 and younger
✅ No enrollment required
✅ No cost to families

Meals are available at multiple locations across the district, helping ensure every child has access to the nutrition they need to learn, grow, and thrive all summer long.

Friday, June 5, is a half day for students in grades K-11 and the last day of school for the 2025-2026 school year!
Please note the following dismissal times:
🎓 William Penn High School (Tier 1)
• Make-Up Exam Day
• No transportation will be provided
📚 Middle Schools & John G. Leach School (Tier 2)
• Drop-off: 7:55 AM
• Dismissal: 11:55 AM
🍎 Elementary Schools (Tier 3)
• Drop-off: 8:45 AM
• Dismissal: 12:55 PM
🧸 Colwyck Pre-K (Tier 4)
• No school

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Throughout the Colonial School District, we proudly remember the former students and graduates whose names are forever etched into our history — young men who answered the call to serve and gave their lives in service. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to something greater than themselves will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day weekend, we reflect with gratitude on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served and sacrificed for our nation.

May we always remember.

🗳️ REMINDER: The Colonial School Board Election is TOMORROW — Tuesday, May 12!

School board members play an important role in helping guide district policies, priorities, and the future of our schools.

🕖 Polls will be open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Community members are encouraged to stay informed and review important details such as candidates, polling locations, and voting information.

✔️ Band-Aids, hugs, advice, and magic all in one visit ✨

They somehow keep students healthy, staff sane, and germs running scared every single day. We’re pretty sure they deserve honorary capes at this point. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

The William Penn High School Plant Sale is back, and our students have been putting in WORK so your house can look like it belongs in a magazine (or at least better than your neighbor’s 👀).

🗓 When to shop ‘til you drop (plants, not you):

Tuesday–Friday (May 5–8): 2PM–6PM
Saturday (May 9): 11 AM–3PM
📍 Where: Penn Farm – Farmstand (aka your new favorite place this week)

🌼 What they’ve got:
Hanging baskets, veggies, bedding plants, ornamental grass, succulents… basically everything except a green thumb (you’ll have to pretend you already have that).

💸 Prices: $1–$15
💳 Cash & card accepted
Come out, support our students, and leave with plants you’ll definitely remember to water this time… right? 😅
