🌟 NEW EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: JESSICA GILBERT 🌟
Please join us in welcoming Jessica Gilbert to the Power of WE! Jessica joins Little Colonials Preschool as a Pre-K Special Education Teacher.
This year marks Jessica’s 16th year teaching preschool. She began her career in New York, where she grew up, and has spent the past 10 years teaching throughout Delaware. Every child, family, and classroom she has worked with has strengthened her passion for early childhood education.
For Jessica, one of the most special parts of teaching Pre-K is having the opportunity to be part of a child’s very first school experience. She is passionate about helping young learners build confidence, curiosity, independence, and a love of learning while also helping families feel welcomed and supported during this important milestone.
Jessica finds inspiration in the everyday moments — a child making a new friend, mastering a new skill, finding their voice, or realizing they can do something they once thought was impossible.
As she joins Colonial, Jessica is most excited to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and colleagues and create a classroom filled with laughter, exploration, kindness, and unforgettable memories.
