Cadets interested in Raiders will need a sports physical. This is a good opportunity to get one if you are available.

HCPS will offer sports physicals to middle or high school students participating in sports on July 13 at Henry County High School (come to the front office) from 9am to 4pm for just $20 (cash or check, please). Sign up for a time slot by clicking the provided link.

Another school year has come to a close and the seniors have completed their time in JROTC. One is missing from the photo and is currently in Army Basic Training. We wish all graduates a successful future.

As we begin this three-day weekend let us remember that Monday isn’t about barbecues, parties, time on the lake, or the kickoff of summer. It is a solemn day for many, set aside to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to this great nation.

Do not thank a veteran for their service. Their day is in November on Veterans Day.

Do not thank active duty members for serving. Their day was last Saturday on Armed Forces Day.

All who served gave some. But some gave all. And it is those, who paid for our freedoms with their life, that we honor on Memorial Day.

Please take a moment on that day to remember. To reflect. And to honor.

We are delighted to announce that our unit has been awarded the Distinguished Unit Award from Headquarters Air Force Junior ROTC for the 2025-2026 school year. Throughout the year, our cadets have consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, teamwork, and commitment to excellence, which has earned us this prestigious recognition.

Congratulations to cadets for their dedication to the program, school and community.

Cadets spent their Sunday completing a 14-mile memorial hike to honor the fallen heroes and survivors of the Bataan Death March of World War II. The hike is a physical challenge designed to provide cadets with the smallest glimpse into the sacrifices few made for the freedoms we all enjoy.
