🔥Our welding students are taking their skills from theory to hands-on practice! 💪

There’s no substitute for getting under the hood, striking an arc, and putting those welding techniques to work. Each weld is another opportunity to build confidence, sharpen skills, and prepare for a successful career in the skilled trades. 🧑‍🏭⚙️

This incredible couple came to the Delaware Skills Center with the goal of building a better future. One enrolled in our Practical Nursing (LPN) program, while the other trained in our Commercial Driver's License (CDL) program. Through hard work, determination, and career placement, they each launched into rewarding careers.

Today, they're celebrating something even bigger—the purchase of their first home!

Their story is a powerful reminder that education doesn't just change careers... it changes lives.

Congratulations on this amazing achievement! Your dedication, perseverance, and belief in yourselves have created a foundation for a bright future. We couldn't be more proud to have been part of your journey.

✨ New careers. New opportunities. New home. A life transformed.

Thank you, NCCER, for recognizing the dedication of our instructors and our commitment to excellence in teaching. Thank you, Tom Francisconi, for sharing your passion and knowledge.

Congratulations are in order for Roy Arters of Delaware Skills Center - NCCVT, winner of the Training and Education category in the 2026 NCCER Photo Contest!

His winning photo highlights the value of hands-on instruction as adult plumbing apprentices develop practical skills, solve real-world challenges and build confidence alongside an experienced instructor. It's a great reflection that quality training is the foundation of a strong construction workforce.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's contest and helped celebrate the people and programs preparing tomorrow's craft professionals.
