Hear ye!
As you consider learning adventures for the upcoming school year, we are delighted to invite you for an inspiring and unforgettable time that parents may enjoy with their children!
Co-ops, classes, scouts, and church youth groups may consider attending this excellent team building exercise as well.
All are welcome with activities recommended for ages 7 and above to step back into 1777 an immersive adventure! In late August, 16,000 British troops under General Howe landed at Elkton with their sights on Philadelphia. General George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette saw this from Iron Hill in Newark, Delaware. Washington ordered General William Maxwell to form 800 men into a Corps of Light Infantry to give the British as much trouble as they could.
Thus, for our purpose, Patriots are called to rally in defense and may serve as Soldiers or Camp Followers. However, all should be aware of nearby Tories, along with the impending British invasion!
