Dear Parents,

As this school year soon comes to a close, I want to thank the entire school community for an outstanding job. We have truly persevered through some very difficult times! I appreciate your support in our mission to help all of our students learn, whether it be in the school building or at home virtually. Thank you for everything you have done to help us achieve that goal.

It is with heavy heart that I inform you that as of June 30, 2020, I will be retiring from Prince George’s County Schools. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve as your principal for the last six years. Thank you for welcoming me into your hearts and trusting me with the safety and well-being of your children. I leave knowing that Carrollton Elementary will continue to shine because of the talented students, amazing staff, teachers, and great families. I wish you all the very best!

Families, the State Superintendent of Schools has decided that all Maryland public schools will be closed through May 15th, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue our Distance Learning!
