Dear Tecumseh Community,

Due to the updated forecast calling for potential thunderstorms this afternoon, we have made the decision to reschedule our Second Annual Walk for a Cure to our rain date of Wednesday, October 21st.

While we were prepared to walk through a little rain, we want to make sure everyone can participate safely and enjoy our time together!

We hope you will join us next Wednesday at Spitzer Stadium between 3:00–5:00 PM as we come together to support those who are fighting breast cancer, celebrate survivors, and honor those we have lost. This year’s walk is dedicated to Ms. Suzanne Massie, former Tecumseh High School guidance counselor, who lost her battle with breast cancer this past June.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to seeing our Arrow family and community next Wednesday as we walk together for this important cause!

If you can please share, it would be great appreciated!

Sincerely,

Paula

Our District Wellness Committee used grant funds to purchase the shirts as a way to show our support for the many individuals who have battled and are currently battling breast cancer. We wear pink to honor those who are fighting, celebrate survivors, and remember those we have lost to this devastating disease. 💗

Over the past three weeks, our Spanish 1 classes have celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month every Friday. Each week, students explored a different country and sampled authentic dishes and drinks from that culture.
Additionally, Spanish Club student Juliet Mendoza created fact cards that were displayed throughout the school to help students learn more about Hispanic culture and traditions. Every Friday, we also shared a morning announcement featuring a fun cultural fact.
To wrap up the celebrations, students completed research projects highlighting notable Hispanic individuals who have made significant contributions to our country. 🇲🇽🖼 ❤️🖤

🩷 SECOND ANNUAL WALK FOR A CURE 🩷
Wednesday, October 14th, 3:00–5:00 PM

A little rain in the forecast won’t stop us from coming together for a cause that touches so many lives! Please join us tomorrow for our Walk for the Cure as we walk in honor of those currently battling breast cancer, in memory of those we have lost, and in celebration of those who have fought and survived. 🩷

The individuals and families impacted by breast cancer have faced storms far greater than a little rain. Let’s show our love, support, and solidarity by showing up, walking together, and reminding them they are never alone. Bring your umbrella, bring your pink, and bring your heart! We hope to see you there!

If you can please share, it would be greatly appreciated!
