MLS Music Lessons provides in-home and remote music instruction for students of all ages offering private classes in piano, guitar, ukulele, electric bass, songwriting/composition, music theory, music technology, ear training, and more!

My goal, as a teacher, is to share my knowledge and experience as a professional musician with my students. I wish for my students to feel the immense joy and satisfaction that I have gained from over 20 years of composing, performing, rehearsing and recording music. I strive to create a learning environment that focuses on the fun and enjoyment of playing music while giving each student the highest level of education and training I can offer. Over time I refined my approach and learned from working with hundreds of students. I have created my own style of educating that engages each student to inspire confidence, discipline, and foster creativity. I truly believe that creating music enriches the human experience and make the world a better place.

About Michael-Louis Smith:
Musician, composer and educator Michael-Louis Smith received his Masters in Music from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College in Purchase NY and has over two decades of experience as a music instructor, recording artist and performer at music venues, and festivals throughout the United States and beyond.

In 2001 Michael began providing at home music instruction for students of all ages and over the years, his company has become an institution in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. It has helped guide and educate hundreds of pupils from early beginner through advanced on their musical journeys
