It's Homecoming this upcoming weekend...the Rams are undefeated and the top ranked football team in the state of Connecticut! Some VERY familiar names to our Class of '91 are associated with this year's team. James McInerney (Tom's son) is a captain, Bo Seelert (Steve's son) is a starting linebacker, Conor Furman (Nat's son) is a starting O-Lineman. Scott Overbeck is an assistant coach and Terry Dinan has taken over PA Announcing for Bob Vanderheyden (Pete's dad) who retired after 65 years! Hope to see many of you at Dunning Field as we approach our 35th!!!

Reminder that our home opener is Thursday, Sept. 14th. Kickoff is 6:30p at Dunning. It is also Brian Wilderman Night as we honor our beloved former captain…a 1997 NCHS grad who passed away too soon in 2000 due to an undiagnosed heart condition. We have a special video tribute that will play on the scoreboard at halftime. Please also consider honoring Brian by donating to his memorial scholarship, presented each year to a graduating NCHS Football player.

Scott Harrison and Lisa Taylor were two of the best athletes from our class. Let’s get a great turnout for them at Waveny on Sunday, Sept. 25th as they will be honored by the New Canaan Old Timers Association. The event costs $50 for adults and runs from 11am to 2p. Also being honored are Coach Marinelli, Mary Beth Gilbert, Tom Murphy and Dave Stewart. To register please visit http://www.ncoldtimers.com. All proceeds go toward the Vin Iovino Athletic Scholarship.
