💙💛Macon County R-IV has arrived at camp💛💙

Since our arrival on Monday, Colin has:

⭐Passed his swim test

⭐Represented his cabin well in the tether ball tournament

⭐Enjoyed family-style meals and connection making time with FFA members and advisors from all over Missouri

⭐He has also enjoyed trapshooting, archery, fishing, and has impressed everyone with his line dancing skills.

Time for another warm Raider welcome! Mr. Tim Holman brings 20 years of experience in education to his new role as PK-12 Counselor at Macon County R-IV Schools. Education has always been a central part of his life; every member of his family works in the field, and both of his parents are retired teachers. He holds a bachelor's degree in geography, master's degrees in counseling and teaching from Missouri Baptist University, and a master's degree in administration from Hannibal-LaGrange University. Mr. Holman is certified in counseling, psychological examining, elementary education, and special education, and he is accompanied by Joel, his certified therapy dog. Outside of school, he enjoys traveling and exploring small towns and has visited nearly every county in Missouri. He previously taught special education at Macon County R-IV during the 2013–2014 school year and is excited to return to the district. He looks forward to serving its students and families and hopes to spend the remainder of his career at Macon County R-IV.

Congrats to Alexis & Tatum on being selected to play in the Lions Club All-Star Game. To top it off, Coach Hernandez was the coach of their team and they came away with a victory! Way to represent BMC Basketball. Congratulations!

Let's give a warm MCR-IV welcome to Ms. Natisha Jett, our new 2nd Grade Teacher!

"Hello everyone!

My name is Natisha Jett, and I am excited to be joining the Macon County R-IV School District this year. I graduated from Bevier C-4 High School in 2003, and continued my education at Moberly Area Community College where I obtained my Associate’s Degree in 2005. Since then, I attended Central Methodist University where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in December 2025.

For the past three years, I have taught Early Childhood and K-2 Special Education. I am excited to start this new chapter as a 2nd Grade teacher at Macon County R-IV. I look forward to working with the students and their families, while bringing my experience and skills into the classroom. Being a teacher has always been my childhood dream.

Outside of school, I have 3 children. Their names are Kayden, Korbin, and Kaleb. Kayden is 19 and currently attending Columbia College, Korbin is 17 and will be a Senior, and Kaleb is 11 and will be going into 6th grade. I enjoy watching them play sports, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family. Besides being a teacher, I work at True Blue Bbq as a part time waitress. I am looking forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff of the Macon County R-IV community and to making this a great school year!"
