📵📚 New Buffalo Area Schools is preparing for a more focused, distraction-free learning environment.

Beginning September 8, 2026, a new Phone-Free Policy will take effect in accordance with Michigan Senate Bill 495 and House Bill 4141. Personal wireless devices, including cell phones and smartwatches, will not be permitted for use during the school day.

Reducing phone distractions during instructional time can improve student focus, academic performance, and overall well-being. This policy is designed to help students stay engaged in learning while creating a positive school environment for all.💙📖
