Arab Cultural Club Rutgers University

Arab Cultural Club Rutgers University The Arab Cultural Club, the Arab student association at Rutgers University is the only group that gathers the entire Arab community at Rutgers University

The Arab Cultural Club, the Arab student association at Rutgers University is the first and only group (founded in 2007) that gathers the entire Arab student body of Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Its mission is to unite the student body by putting aside all religious ties exposing the student body, faculty, and staff to the Arabic language and culture. Our focus is to shed light on the livelih

ood and way of life of Arab people abroad and in the Diaspora while remaining in the confines of maintaining a stance against normalization and standing for justice for all those oppressed. Through activities that promote the understanding of the values of Arab people, their culture, and addressing stereotypes and false notions about the region, we hope to both entertain and educate the Rutgers and surrounding communities. We hope to raise awareness of current issues, debunk negative stereotypes held against Arabs, and work through community service to aid those less fortunate and educate students in the Rutgers community on pertinent issues in the Arab world domestically and abroad.
