***FOUND DOGS***

At approximately 11:49 AM Branchburg PD was dispatched to the area of Old York Road near Whiton Hills for a report of two jaywalkers. Upon arrival, our patrol Officers made contact with the two subjects who were located in Whiton Hills headed in the direction of Rt. 202. Upon further investigation it was determined that both subjects saw that we had recently hired three new Officers, and were on their way to Police Headquarters to introduce themselves.

Our new doggo friends were then given a courtesy transport to Police HQ where they officially became friends with one of our new hires, Ofc. Risley. After being given a tour of HQ (along with several dog treats), our new friends were turned over to the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter (908-725-0308).

If anyone recognizes these two wonderful dogs, please let their owner(s) know that they are in good care and can be picked up at the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, 100 Commons Way Bridgewater NJ.
