Rutgers University Percussion

Rutgers University Percussion Welcome to the Rutgers University Percussion Page! Add us to your favorites to get the latest news and sneak peeks into masterclasses and concert repertoire.

The Rutgers Percussion program has one goal: to foster the maximum potential of each student and enable them to be active performers upon graduation. We have a diverse faculty teaching a wide variety of styles from Orchestral Percussion and Timpani to Commercial, Latin and Jazz traditions. Students at Rutgers are given access to the world of Broadway, the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center, t

he Philadelphia Orchestra, and a host of other outlets where they can see and hear the faculty perform. Alumni and current students of the Rutgers program have worked with some of the world's great orchestras, toured the globe with Broadway productions, and created new music in collaboration with the emerging composers of our day. We welcome you to the Rutgers page, and hope you will visit us on our New Brunswick campus.
