The CMI is excited to welcome back the Jasper String Quartet as this summer's guest artists!

Winner of the prestigious CMA Cleveland Quartet Award, Philadelphia's Jasper String Quartet is the Professional Quartet in Residence at Temple University's Center for Gifted Young Musicians and the 2017-18 Guest Artist in Residence at Swarthmore College.

CMI 2017 has come and gone. It was a fantastic week! CMI 2018 will take place the same time next year, the last week of July. In the mean time, don't stop playing! Check out the Young Artist Program, where students can continue to play chamber music under expert coaches.

This Saturday, Rutgers is hosting a free chamber music reading session for players of all ages and levels of experience! It will take place from 2:30 - 4:30 in Schare Recital Hall, Marryott Music Building 81 George Street New Brunswick, NJ.

Amanda Harberg and Ben Figland performed Harberg's Clarinet Sonata during Session II of the CMI this year. Due to an accident on the NJ Turnpike, Ben arrived at the last minute, got ready in about two minutes, and proceeded to absolutely kill this performance! We really loved it and hope you will too.
