Ru Orgo Tutor was founded in 2012 when a student taking the course realized there was very little supplemental resources he could use to better understand the material. He decided to start up a little tutoring service that has become widely popular. Many of our tutors are past or present TAs or TIs for the course. Because of this fact we can ensure that each tutor has knowledge on how the course is run and what topics he or she should focus on while teaching you.
You're probably asking yourself,"well how are these tutors going to help me?" Most people are curious about what we do during these sessions. Well each student has different needs, and it is dependent on what the students needs. One student might want to meet very often and go through the lecture notes word by word to understand everything. Usually with these students we make notes with the students that will help them understand "hard to grasp" concepts. We also use visual aids if necessary, or explain it from a different point of view . Another student might only need help with certain topics that troubled them in lecture. Other students might want practice problems to reinforce the concepts they learned. It really is what you need. The session is tailored around you not us.
