Update on Carol 1/10/24

Carol is back at her Rehab place after being discharged from the hospital.
She is breathing better and is not showing signs of any Covid or RSV.
Her hearing is not what it used to be and although she can hear most she must be paying attention really strong.
Got to see her on Skype as her son Brett was there and hooked us up.
She wasn't looking too well but hope she just needs some rest.

Condolences to Brien O'Rourke on the passing of his wife: MARIKA O’ROURKE
AGE: 61 • SOMERSET
Marika O’Rourke, 61, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday February 9, 2016 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was a Teacher at St. Peter’s Elementary School in New Brunswick, and most recently taught Special Education at Piscataway Regional Day School. Marika received the Governor’s Teacher of the Year Award in 2009. She was also an Officer and Member of NJEA.
Marika is survived by her husband Brien T. O’Rourke; children, Joseph Matthew Democritos, Bridget Catherine O’Rourke, and John Francis O’Rourke; mother, Mary Democritos; a brother, Nicholas Democritos; and a sister, Christine Democritos.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday February 13, 2016, 10:30AM at St. Peter’s Church, New Brunswick. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick.
